    How about all-in on Corbin?

At first i thought this was a thread about Billy Corgan & the Smashing Pumpkins new song.

Taylor Ward: Angels calling up Taylor Ward

Lol yeah. On the other end of the scale: actress Famke Janssen is a 6'0 tall woman who has to be on her knees in movies when working with short actors so that they look taller than her.

Taylor Ward: Angels calling up Taylor Ward

LOL. Looking back i now see how my post would end up being quoted on just that part. Yeah Ward could probably just wear shoes that are 3 inches taller. I heard Tom Cruise who's only 5'7 wears 5 inch tall shoes to make himself seem 6'0 on set of his films.

    Worst possible debut for Ward

Very true. I was just being sarcastic lol. Scioscia could probably come up with any excuse for why he does it lol.

    Worst possible debut for Ward

The reason he benches them after having a great game is so that they can learn what being on the bench is like when they do really go into the slump later in their career.

Men always want to add an inch, women always want to subtract an inch. Men who play sports they add an extra inch to their height while in the world of acting actresses want to be shorter & subtract an inch from their height, alot of 6'0 tall actresses try to have themselves listed as 5'11 1/2 or just 5'11 when in reality their 6'0 to 6'0 1/2, even ones who are 5'9 try to say their 5'8 1/2 or something.

Jose Briceno - Could this be his norm?

Pitchers throw harder in the majors than the minors ? That could go long ways towards why some have more power once reaching the majors, the exit velocity will be higher.

Jose Briceno - Could this be his norm?

Mathis reached his potential as a defensive catcher finally, the past few years he's been one of the best at throwing out runners including being one of the few to throw out Trout this year. Trout vs Mathis, Mathis won !

Jose Briceno - Could this be his norm?

After Mathis sucked & Napoli was called up. Remember when Kotchman/Mathis/McPherson/Kendrick were talked up as all being great players. Didn't Mathis have Joe Mauer comparisons at one point ?

The Official 2018-2019 Anaheim Ducks Thread

Thats why i wouldn't trade him, our luck Lindholm would have that breakout year after a trade. The positives going forward is he has the track record of playing great defense in the past (except for last season) & he's had 2 years with 10 goals or more. Say his defense goes back to what it was & his offense continues where he left off this past season, we could see him at 15 goals/ 40 to 45 points & top shutdown numbers. Of the Ducks D-men he is best at getting pucks thru traffic which is an overlooked skill, sometimes it leads to a goal for him, forces a faceoff after goalie covers it, or leads to a big rebound & pass that scores.

Jose Briceno - Could this be his norm?

Another catcher that out performed his minor league numbers & hit a HR in his first MLB game: Mike Napoli Napoli's first 4 years in the minors he had a OPS below .780 & in 2006 his minor league OPS was .780. Jeff Mathis was ahead of him in the depth chart.
