will be interesting to see country house run in the preakness. i don't know if it's a weak or strong field, but his chances to win the triple crown have increased with maximum security out of the running.

And Country House lol. That horse prolly won't ever win again.

He wasn't going win that race, the two horses behind Maximum Security were already past him when they had to slam on the brakes. That was a slopfest of a race where a plow horse had a chance to win.

I see everyone is excited about The Preakness today

I have better things to spend my money on then get screwed betting on a horse race.

Yes, sad, but that's the way I feel about the sport right now.

A horse with a little guy on top of him.

Was it the brown horse? I’ll bet it was the brown horse.

Japanese derby.  17 starters.  Clean start, zero bumping, cutting off, and fouling.  US horse racing says it's impossible.  And a 93-1 shot won it over the favorite.

OKay, gentlemen, the racing season at Santa Anita ended yesterday, a season that saw 30 horses die. Why did so many die? Training methods? Track conditions? Something else? How do you explain this?

Horses die at every track every week. The vast majority of deaths at Santa Anita had to do with the track and all the rain it got in the winter. The last 6-7 deaths over the past few months weren't abnormal
