How would Rosenthal know if the MRI is scheduled for tomorrow?  I'm guessing there are other ways to detect it?

That looks awful. Hopefully it is one of those that is much worse than it appears.

yes there are.  physical exam is pretty good for detecting ACL injuries.

that looked pretty bad.  knee hyperextended.  might be  a PCL as well.  bummer.

don't ever want to see a player get injured.  except Pete Rose.  I'd like to see him injured.

Damn.  Spontaneous party at Taylor's and Chuck's tonight

Haha. Just because I think he's a major douche doesn't mean I celebrate him getting injured.

OH MY GOD, I totally worded that wrong! Honestly meant to say that I hope its one of those injuries that appears much worse than it actually is.

I'm sorry if that rubbed anyone wrong. Babysitting my 2 YO nephew and posting has my wires all twisted.

I thought so.  I had to re read it several times.

Ditto.

I don't care for him personally, but I respect his ability and would never wish a major injury on someone.

You're a weirdo little @m0nkey

I find your personality much like Harpers ... that's not a bad thing

Apparently he was walking around the clubhouse without much of a limp and has an MRI scheduled for tomorrow.

If that's the case then the drama queen was hamming it up after it happened.

The original way you had it was obviously fucked up but also very droll.

That's what happens when you hustle

So Albert is safe from that type of injury, but has plenty of others to worry about. I hope is OK, to lose a player of that caliber is bad for baseball, and of course Harper.

Love the way he plays the game.

im bummed he may be out a long period of time. I hope he recovers fast. Baseball won't be the same without him

Nats are still in good shape without Harper. The Angels were ok without Trout and Trout is better than Harper and the Nats are better than the Angels.

Murphy, Rendon, Zimmerman, Scherzer, Strasburg....

Also, believe it or not, I love Bryce Harper the ball player. He's freakin' balls to the wall, get in your face talented. He hates to lose. He's the second best player in baseball.

He does and says things off the field that I dislike, and I don't think he's a role model, but my goodness, what a talent!

He'sthe type of player, that if he were an Angel, you'd love him.

MRI results just announced:

No ligament or tendon damage, but a "significant bone bruise" that will keep him out indefinitely.  It's possible that he could return before the end of the season.

How did he bruise his bone with no impact to the knee?

The Nats just didn't want to call it a Grade 1 Vaginal Bruise.

Damn I forgot the Angels are playing the Nats tomorrow. I wish Harper was playing just to make the series more interesting.
