Blash recalled & starting tonight - Hermosillo optioned

I still believe that Herm has the potential to be an everyday outfielder and a strong 4th outfielder at worst. However, I think he was called up too early when he was just  barely getting acclimated to and seeing success in AAA.

Is Hermosillo supposed to be an everyday player or just a bench one? Asking honestly what does he project as?

Hopefully they give Blash a lions-share of the playing time for the next 2-3 weeks while Kole finishes his Catholic exorcism/Chumash sweat lodge/Nepalese isolation trek/Santeria blood-letting efforts.

Chris Young probably bought another month thanks to one MAYBE hitting performance yesterday, that did still include fumbling an easy play in the corner to give the Twins an extra base.

Hopefully this means Herm has had his audition, has been tasked with things to work on everyday in AAA, and now Blash gets his shot at regular playing time to show if he can translate years of PCL success to the majors.

The winner gets 4th OF or a platoon with Kole upon his triumphant return and Chris Young's DFA.

Jabari Band-Aidlash IMO. Angels have no real good RF options so it makes sense to just rotate through them and see if anybody can give them a good stretch here and there

His ceiling is that of an everyday RFer. Not a star but a quality player (Calhoun before the suck). Most likely he ends up being a good 4th outfielder.

This is a good thing. Hermosillo will be a solid major leaguer someday, but he needs to be in AAA. He isn't done developing yet. He was only forced into action because Calhoun and Young suck.

Blash on the other hand is done developing and being in AAA wasn't doing him any favors.

Blash has a really odd batting stance. It's kind of stupid looking.
