I beg to differ.  Two hours from Sacramento, one hour from Tahoe, lots to do and mild weather.  Low cost of living.

not sure how I missed this before, but . . .

"Two hours from Sacramento" ?

is that supposed to be a selling point?

The flights in and out of there are a lot cheaper than most places.  I usually fly into there when visiting my brother in Reno.

get the f*ck out of NH.

hunt on craigslist, find a place with multiple roommates so the rent is cheap as possible, near the water. and then get some sun, focus on yourself and figure out what you do need to long term.

aim for cali, florida, hawaii for a year or so and you'll be fine.  austin, texas is also amazing.

personally if you really need a change of pace, go plant it in europe for a while. work at a bookshop or tutor people in english or whatever in amsterdam or croatia or montenergo or anywhere in italy. you can bop around while you're there, it's so easy and cheap to get around. now is the perfect time if you aren't tied down. it will change your life for the better.

Meh, Reno has a large airport.  And it is nothing like Sacramento.  I don't go to casinos so I don't care about those.

Good cost of living, solid economy and decent weather.  Not to mention In-n-Out and some really nice golf courses.

Corona isn't a bad place to live in SoCal. It's the first city just east of Orange County.  It's only about 20 miles/30 minutes from the Big A. It's part of the IE, but it's sort of an outlier, IMO. Doesn't seem to have all the methheads and shit like Riverside. I moved here from Huntington Beach because it saved me about $500/mo in rent. It's still not cheap, by any means, but it's relatively close to all the major cities and attractions and it's cheaper than most places in Orange and LA Counties.
