Griffin Canning back to the IL with elbow inflamation; MRI reveals no structural damage but he will be shut down for the rest of the season

I never know what to make of these anymore.

Dehydration becoming TJS was the kicker.

Hoping it's just them being extremely cautious...can't blame them.

They've done everything to limit his pitch counts the past two years.    Other than his junior year at UCLA, hasn't he had pretty much normal usage back to HS baseball?

Is his delivery one that could always make his elbow/forearm vulnerable?

Wonder if the emphasis on spin rates have anything to do with the apparent increase of elbow related issues over the past few years?

This is the first season that the emphasis on spin rates, coupled with a new pitching coach has been in effect. It would not explain Richards, Heaney, Skaggs, Ramirez, Tropeano...

No bid deal. The Eppler Plan has always been to return to contention in  2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021.
