Think about it. We've already talked about everything - how the Angels suck, how they need to play younger players during the rest of the season, what they need to do during the offseason. Arte, Jerry, Mike. How awesome Trout is, and a possible contract extension. Trade possibilities. Farm system. Who should get fired, Etc.

It goes on. There's just nothing to talk about in terms of Angels baseball, not until the offseason at least. Then we can recap with a full season of stats to look at, but we'll be on watch to see what happens next. But for now, well, I really don't know if there's anything to talk about for the next month or two.

Trout in the batting title race, how terrible Trumbo's numbers are going to look like at the end of the year, Hamilton's finish, as well as how guys like Calhoun/Green/Jimenez play.

Tony Troutana comin' fo dat MVP saaan!

Mike Trout will hit 40/60 in the next 3 years crew.

Fire Scioscia one day, crown him a top 5 skipper the next day crew.

Marine layer will rob Trout of 40 HRs crew.

If Weaver gains a couple mph on his fastball, he can become an Ace again.

There's plenty to talk about. Problem is, some of you are just like to beat a dead horse and get burned out.

dude - I posted a thread about how long the thread titles are.

yah - it's all played out.

maybe some people could post some ideas about some topics that we could write some articles about.  Or something like that.

I feel like everything is played out or overblown these days with Twitter, etc.

Plus, MLB Network hired Brian Kenny, who continually makes people speechless with his astute analysis.  I do laugh every time Harold Reynolds says "whatever", though.

I laugh every time he says "hands down", because whatever he's talking about is never "hands down". There's always a better argument against.

We have yet to pick apart the ball and bat boys and only scratched the surface of the state of the ushers.

I've always had a nice experience with the ushers. Never a problem.

You can always talk about what Trout would bring in a trade. His trade value will never be any higher than this off-season.

There is also whispers in the front office that both Dipoto and Scioscia may be history.

@  DropOfAnaheim : (11 June 2014 - 11:46 AM) Ibanez was clutch 2 YEARS AGO. An organization can only smell the rosy farts of his legacy so long before the rotten stench of second half 2013-2014 requires Lysol, and an unconditional release.

@  SlappyUtilit... : (03 June 2014 - 07:16 PM) Yankee's Claimed LHP Matt LeBlanc off waivers from the L.A. Angels. DAMN YOU SKANKS! Maybe, he'll get some time on Broadway!
@  bikervic : (03 June 2014 - 03:55 PM) I am a novice when it comes to baseball, but have often wondered why baseball players prepare to ‘steal bases’ differently than other athletes prepare to move. My inquiry has to do with the observation that starting with both feet on the ground slows the initial acceleration of runner and penalizes them by about 3'.  Consider the following and maybe a comment would help explain.
http://www.sports-sp...ase_running.pdf

If the distance between 1st & 2nd were 3' shorter, how would this affect the percentage of stolen bases? Another way to look at this percentage would be to estimate how many close umpire calls occurred where-in the runner was called out. vic
