With all the "religion of peace" talk, I think it's important to acknowledge when members of two different religions stand together despite theological differences.

Human chain formed to protect Christians during Lahore mass

LAHORE: The Muslim and Christian communities came together during Sunday mass in a show of solidarity in Lahore.

Hand in hand as many as 200-300 people formed a human chain outside the St Anthony’s Church adjacent to the District Police Lines at the Empress Road, in a show of solidarity with the victims of the Peshawar church attack two weeks back, which resulted in over a 100 deaths. The twin suicide attack on All Saints church occurred after Sunday mass ended and is believed to be the country’s deadliest attack on Christians.

Or this quote from Rick Warren:

"It's possible to walk hand-in-hand without seeing eye-to-eye."

Shildog, what a silly comment.  Even the most harshest critics of Islam understand that a majority of muslims are not bad people.

Right? I'd say the number of "nice Muslims" is probably around 26 people

Please, that is silly unless you think criticism is the same as calling an entire group 100% evil.

What about calling an entire group 100% silly, like Christians? :P

It doesn't surprise me at all. Most of the people in these countries are sick of them and want to get on with their lives. The social media generation is different and will eventually try to squash the intolerant asshats who give them all a bad name.

Terrific news.  Let's hope there's more and more of this.  And I hope they start calling out the terrorists who do not necessarily represent their beliefs.

@  Chuck Richter : (01 February 2016 - 09:16 AM) Announcement re: Forum ads coming later today.
@  Chuck Richter : (14 December 2015 - 02:21 PM) Note: If you're experiencing issues with ads on you iPhone (iOS, Safari browser) you can download Chrome and use the Mobile version of the website, or use the full version of the website over mobile to resolve the issue. There's a plan in place for 2016 for you to avoid ads altogether. I will be releasing that plan in the next coming weeks.
@  Homebrewer : (12 December 2015 - 02:40 PM) Huggies ads en Espanol?
Man, they missed the target with that one.
@  Mile High Dr... : (09 December 2015 - 05:40 PM) Chuck....redirecks are back again....sending me to zales...have to hit back a buch of times to get back to forum.
@  Chuck Richter : (02 December 2015 - 11:39 AM) Hi guys, please send me a PM of exactly the issue you're seeing.
@  tomsred : (01 December 2015 - 08:59 PM) Yeah, they sure are back, pretty annoying.
@  Homebrewer : (01 December 2015 - 03:48 PM) Redirects are back...for everyone but Chuck it seems.
@  AngelsLakersFan : (30 November 2015 - 01:36 PM) Mine is back again
@  tomsred : (25 November 2015 - 08:02 PM) By the way, the advertiser that was the most annoying was Zales Jewelry, if that means anything.
@  tomsred : (25 November 2015 - 08:01 PM) The redirect pop-ups finally stopped for me today, they were really annoying for about three days.
@  DropOfAnaheim : (20 November 2015 - 01:18 PM) Please remove the Sean Newcomb picture and story on the main page. Bless him, but why be reminded of what we lost?
@  SlappyUtilit... : (20 November 2015 - 09:59 AM) also on IE
@  SlappyUtilit... : (20 November 2015 - 09:59 AM) I've been having that redirect pop-up for about 10 days now....
@  Homebrewer : (18 November 2015 - 03:19 PM) (hate IE but stuck with it during the day)
@  Homebrewer : (18 November 2015 - 03:19 PM) Nope. Getting it on IE.
@  AngelsLakersFan : (18 November 2015 - 12:45 PM) Ya thats the one. Are you on Safari?
@  Homebrewer : (18 November 2015 - 09:12 AM) It's a redirect of sorts..glad its not only me. Means it in the website and not in my reg files (hopefully)
@  Homebrewer : (18 November 2015 - 09:10 AM) http://go.goadvs.com/
@  AngelsLakersFan : (17 November 2015 - 06:32 PM) I've been getting browser hijacks as well. One of the ad components you are using is probably doing it.
@  Chuck Richter : (16 November 2015 - 04:12 PM) No, ads will only populate based on your search words. Based on the websites you visit. What you doing behind the scenes besides brewing at home, HB?
@  Homebrewer : (16 November 2015 - 02:15 PM) Ads that hijack the web page now??
@  Ray McKigney : (13 November 2015 - 03:16 PM) Thank you, Erick Aybar! Good luck in Atlanta.
@  LBHalos17 : (24 October 2015 - 07:53 PM) The Halos overachieved this season; looking forward to '16!

@  Biergott : (30 September 2015 - 06:51 PM) I want to yell bad words here right now
@  Homebrewer : (29 September 2015 - 12:16 PM) Seems fine today. Sometimes there are implanted video ads that slow the site to a crawl.
@  Chuck Richter : (28 September 2015 - 03:28 PM) The website and forum have been running fast for me. Let me know if this continues and I'll schedule an after hours reboot.
@  Hollyw00d : (28 September 2015 - 02:48 PM) Al Gore needs to get to work on his new internet update
@  Homebrewer : (28 September 2015 - 01:26 PM) I blame Scioscia.
@  Ray McKigney : (28 September 2015 - 12:18 PM) Yeah, it's been intermittently slow the last few days. Thanks, Obama!
@  Homebrewer : (28 September 2015 - 10:16 AM) Very slow again today...
@  fan_since79 : (24 September 2015 - 05:25 PM) Yes, it was very slow to load pages earlier today. Everything's fine now.
@  Ray McKigney : (24 September 2015 - 12:58 PM) Anybody else having a problem with the forum being extremely slow?????
@  DropOfAnaheim : (22 September 2015 - 11:09 AM) I hope Santiago's train tracks are straightly carved into the mound tonight.

@  VariousCrap : (30 August 2015 - 03:34 PM) The question is not whether the Angels will make the playoffs; it is whether they will end the season above or below the .500 mark.
@  Homebrewer : (27 August 2015 - 12:28 PM) GREAT OUTING BY SHOE!!
@  VariousCrap : (24 August 2015 - 03:23 PM) This team is a bunch of pussies with no backbone.  They should be ashamed of themselves.

@  VariousCrap : (20 August 2015 - 08:27 PM) The suck ass team is back!!!
