With all the "religion of peace" talk, I think it's important to acknowledge when members of two different religions stand together despite theological differences.

Human chain formed to protect Christians during Lahore mass

LAHORE: The Muslim and Christian communities came together during Sunday mass in a show of solidarity in Lahore.

Hand in hand as many as 200-300 people formed a human chain outside the St Anthony’s Church adjacent to the District Police Lines at the Empress Road, in a show of solidarity with the victims of the Peshawar church attack two weeks back, which resulted in over a 100 deaths. The twin suicide attack on All Saints church occurred after Sunday mass ended and is believed to be the country’s deadliest attack on Christians.

i don't think the majority of this board will like the painting of muslims in a positive light.

Or this quote from Rick Warren:

"It's possible to walk hand-in-hand without seeing eye-to-eye."

Who knew, there are a few nice Muslims after all.

Right? I'd say the number of "nice Muslims" is probably around 26 people

Shildog, what a silly comment.  Even the most harshest critics of Islam understand that a majority of muslims are not bad people.

Could have fooled me by a few posters

Please, that is silly unless you think criticism is the same as calling an entire group 100% evil.

What about calling an entire group 100% silly, like Christians? :P

It doesn't surprise me at all. Most of the people in these countries are sick of them and want to get on with their lives. The social media generation is different and will eventually try to squash the intolerant asshats who give them all a bad name.
